Twenty four hours a day, Medic 2’s highly trained paramedics are on the job, minutes from your doorstep. From two stations, covering southern Franklin County and portions of Adams, Frederick, and Washington Counties, Medic 2 provides the most advanced pre-hospital medical care available. Nationally recognized for its ground-breaking care of heart attack victims, Medic 2 brings airway management, intravenous fluids, drugs, trauma care, and sophisticated cardiac care to hundreds of seriously ill or injured patients in our community each year.

Medic 201, operating out of Waynesboro Hospital Emergency Department, covers the southeastern portions of our first-due response area.

Medic 203, operating out of quarters generously donated by Rescue Hose Company, covers Greencastle, Mercersburg, and other communities in the southwestern portion of our response area.

Medic 2 also plays an important role in training the paramedics of tomorrow. Medic 2 is a primary clinical training site for paramedic students. And Medic 2 sponsors community health initiatives like our recent Heart Safe Community AED program and our Christmas food drive for needy families.
